Happy Birthday to Mattison!

Poor Mattison has to share her Bday with old St. Nick so every year we make sure we make a big deal the night before or the morning of since the next two days are filled with nothing but Xmas. This year I have to work on Christmas eve so we took her to her favorite restarant and did her presents. She loved the new puma gear and I just know she is going to look adorable. More to follow.

T'was the night before Christmas

This last weekend was a busy one, the kids spent most of their weekend sledding but managed to take a few minuets out of their day to help me with the Santa cookies. We used to make sugar cut out cookies every year and frost then and the last two year mamma has been slacking. This year we got out all the good and made it quite the project, after awhile cookie frosting turned into a competition....WHAT DOESN'T around our house! hee hee! Is it ever going to STOP!

For those of you who don't live in the Seattle area we have been dumped with snow, ice and some frigid weather. Since last Friday it has been in the teens and that is minus the wind. That is COLD for this area. Then on Saturday morning I woke up to a couple of inches of snow, and really since then it has snow off & on. This morning we woke up to four inches and a down pour of snow, and it really hasn't stopped since. We made it home today after a long treacherous drive, had some dinner and took the kids outside for some fun. I think I was more excited about the snow man to tell you the truth. All they wanted to do is throw snowballs back & forth... of course I am in the back ground... "mattison & taylor one of you is going to get hurt...& BANG!" I get one right in the back of the head from our neighbor. THANKS GREG! Jeff did a fantastic job with our snow man. Thanks dad!

4 months....5 more to go!

I forgot what it is like to be pregnant. WHAT was I thinking? I am now four months pregnant and counting down everyday. So far this has been a very good pregnancy, a few weird dreams here and there (what is up with that anyway?), a few pounds (20 not that I am counting), and some interrupted sleep and other than that I just wake up everyday thinking how blessed I am to have to healthy amazing kids and I get to have another one!

Ballet Monday

Every Monday Mattison goes to ballet and I can't hardly stand how cute she is. Pictures are not the greatest since I have to take them through a glass wall. She used to just run around on her tippy toes and would never want us to leave the dance studio, sometimes even running out crying because she couldn't see us. (two way mirror glass) Now three years later we just dump her off and she goes running in for and hour of dancing. She is so cute and sure does make me proud how brave she has gotten. I stayed this time to take a few shots and watch her, she's GOOD!
