Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. Being a mother is no easy task, I would say it is the most rewarding job you will ever have but also the most difficult. There are days you that you feel like a million bucks and days where you just want to cry but it is all worth it when you lay those kids down in bed for the night and hear "mommy I love you!"! I thank god everyday for my two children...(as I am typing that I just yelled down the hall, "quit fighting, or go to your separate rooms!") ha ha ha ha!! Well, what can I say I am not perfect by any means but I sure do love them to death and had a wonderful mother's day. I woke up to home made cards, a $150 gift certificate to an awesome spa, and some hand made note cards from Mattison. We then got to go spend a wonderful day with the Hammitt family. Thanks Craig & Jeff for the fantastic breakfast!! To finish off a great day Jeff & the kids took me to Home Depot to pick out some more plants for our yard! LOOKING good now! Hope all of you moms had a day as great as mine! Happy M's day!

ONE last post before Payton arrives...

I know you all have been waiting for a pregnant picture and I have been nicely avoiding putting one up. I suppose since she could be making her arrival anytime now I will post one last pregnant picture as we wait in anticipation. Since my doctor is the BEST and said he would put me out of my misery at 39 weeks we only really have less than two weeks left. For those of you that are interested as of the 5th I was almost dilated to a 2 so we are hoping she will come early on her own, cause I have no idea where the rest of her will go! I am doing well just ready for my body back & we all are nervous/excited for her to arrive, especially the kids; they ask everyday "when is Payton going to come out?"

kindergarten check up

Taylor visited his doctor last night to get his physical & final shots before kindergarten. Everything checked out perfect, hearing, eyes, and then he got his last two shots and didn't even cry. He said, "the one (mmr) hurt a little but that's all! He has always been so tough it just blows our minds. He wanted grandma & grandpa to see his spot where he got his shots.

3 weeks & counting

So for all of you that are wondering Jeff and I visited the doctor yesterday and we have nothing too crazy to report. He said I am dilated a little over 1cm which is pretty normal especially in a 2nd, 3rd child. He did say that one thing I had going for me is that my cervix is soft, what ever that means! I am going to be a walking machine but if you all could pray for her to come a little early that would be great as I am very miserable. We will keep you posted with more news as it comes.
